Jefferey Winston, M.D.
Adult Psychiatry

Dr. Winston has specialized training in preventative psychiatric treatment, utilizing crisis intervention techniques, short-term hospitalization, as well as management of large chronically ill population.

Dr. Winston holds a special interest in group therapy, family therapy, anxiety disorders, bi-polar and affective disorders as well as crisis intervention and short-term psychotherapy.

Dr. Winston received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School. He completed his training with a residency and internship in psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and clinics. He is board certified in psychiatry and is a member of the Georgia Physician Psychiatry Association, American Psychiatric Association, American Society of Adolescent Psychiatry and the Physicians for Social Responsibility.
