Who we are...

Since 1973, Peachford Behavioral Health System of Atlanta, a Universal Health Services facility, has been serving metropolitan Atlanta and the near North Georgia area in providing specialized treatment programs for children, adolescents, adults and seniors suffering from emotional, behavioral and psychiatric disorders as well as addictions. Our system includes a free standing 184 – bed psychiatric hospital located in Dunwoody, Georgia and community-based services delivered through our programs and network of mental health professionals. The hospital is fully accredited and approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and are on most of the managed care panels including Medicare.
