Chemical Dependency Service Director

Dr. Vaughn is responsible for the clinical supervision of the chemical dependency services at Peachford Behavioral Health System.  He has a special interest in postpartum depression and addiction psychiatry. He has been a Staff Physician for Southeastern Health Services and Meridian Medical Group and has served as Attending Physician at Prime Time Health Centers.

Dr. Vaughn received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. He continued at Emory with his residency in OB/GYN and Psychiatry. He recently completed an Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at Emory as well.  He is a board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry and addiction psychiatry. 

He is a member of the American Association of Addiction Psychiatrists, American Psychiatric Association and the Georgia OB/GYN Society.
