Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Dr. Jaffe currently serves as the Youth Services Service Director for Peachford
Behavioral Health System. In addition, he also serves as a Professor for the
Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Child and Adolescent
Psychiatry and as Clinical Professor for the Morehouse School of Medicine,
Department of Psychiatry.
Dr. Jaffe received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein School of
Medicine. He continued his training with an internship at UCLA and a residency
at the Massachusetts Mental Health Center. Dr. Jaffe completed his training with
a teaching fellowship at Harvard and a child psychiatry fellow at Emory
University. He is board certified in general and child psychiatry.
Dr. Jaffe has lectured and been published both nationally and internationally,
on a variety of topics related to adolescent substance abuse and psychiatric
disorders for over 10 years. He has served as an expert for television,
magazine, newspapers and radio interviews. He is a member of the American
Psychiatric Association and the Georgia Psychiatric Association.
