The Child Psychiatric Program is designed for children from 4 to 12 years of age. The following care options are available:

  • Acute inpatient
  • Partial hospitalization
  • Intensive outpatient
  • Individual outpatient

Acute Care is a highly intensive program designed to provide stabilization for a child in severe distress or exhibiting dangerous behavior. Partial Hospitalization offers a less restrictive environment, which allows a child to live at home while receiving comprehensive treatment and maintaining a full-time school schedule. The Intensive Outpatient Program meets 2 to 3 hours per day between 3 to 5 days per week. Programs are available for children between the ages of 4and 12.When Outpatient Therapy is deemed to be the most effective course of treatment, Peachford provides a variety of outpatient services as well as a referral network to area health professionals.
