Adult Addictive Disease Services
Today, alcohol and drug dependencies are recognized as life-threatening diseases
and Peachford’s philosophy regards them as treatable medical illnesses. Emphasis
is placed on learning relapse prevention skills. Discharge meetings are held
with family and, if appropriate, employers to strengthen patients on their road
to recovery.

Alcohol abuse and dependency
Drug abuse and dependency, including: marijuana, hallucinogens, cocaine/crack,
inhalants, prescription drugs, amphetamines, heroin, barbiturates.
Adult Psychiatric Services
For adults, psychiatric, emotional and substance abuse problems can affect
careers, marriages and relationships. Peachford offers a confidential, caring
environment that promotes crisis resolution, positive self-awareness, social
skills, and personal growth.
