The acute program treats adults in an intensive therapeutic structure, providing
medical and psychiatric stabilization and 24-hour nursing care for patients
experiencing critical symptoms.
Partial hospitalization is designed to assist individuals who require acute
stabilization without the intensity of full inpatient hospitalization. The
partial hospitalization program provides six hours of structured programming per
day, allowing a patient to return home in the evening.
Intensive outpatient treatment provides three hours of structured therapy per
day, allowing the patient to maintain a work schedule and live at home.
For patients whose treatment needs can best be met through individual outpatient
therapy, Peachford works closely with a statewide network of mental health
professionals to arrange appropriate referrals.
